Our story
Built at 72, by a retired food scientist.
Most security products are born inside security companies. ARACHNODE was born somewhere else: in the mind of a retired nutraceutical food scientist who spent his first career learning how to keep dangerous things out of the food supply.
From 1996 to 1997 he worked at Rutgers University’s Center for Advanced Food Technology (CAFT). Food science teaches a particular kind of vigilance: you assume something harmful will eventually get in. You don’t only build walls; you build detection, containment and traceability. When a contaminant appears, you isolate the batch, study it, record every step, and protect everything downstream.
In the late summer of 2026 he turned that same thinking on the newest danger of all: AI agents that no longer just answer questions, but take real actions inside real systems.
That question became ARACHNODE. A spider doesn’t chase its prey; it builds a structure that senses disturbance, holds what enters, and waits. The Web is the Gateway. The Eight Eyes are the Mirror Maze. The Trapdoor is quarantine. And the Master Discernment Key keeps a human in charge.
Age did not slow this work down. Experience shaped it.
